Vets’ winning streak ends at 6 games !!

The Navy Vets’ winning streak was stopped at 6 games with a 5-3 loss in New Hamburg on Friday night.
Mack Easter had a goal and an assist in the game.
Nolan Brett and Christian Pelley scored the other goals.
Graeme Noye made his return from injury and made 48 saves but took the loss.
The Firebirds started quickly with Josh Vale scoring just 42 seconds into the game to set off a barrage of bears being thrown on the ice as it was Teddy Bear Toss Night at the Wilmot Rec Centre.
They built a 3-0 lead just over halfway thru the opening period and the Vets could never recover.

Caden Bower and Patrick Klazer each had an assist to extend their point streaks to 5 games !!

The Vets host the Norwich Merchants on Saturday night at Southwood Arena.
