The Navy Vets opened up their 2022 Preseason Schedule with a 3-0 win at Southwood Arena over the Dorchester Dolphins on Friday night.
Newcomers Connor Palmer, Liam VanBradt, and Lucas Braja scored for the Vets … the Braja goal on the powerplay. Rylan Warford, Tommy Zufelt, Ty Durston, Owen Holloway, and Jake McMullen had assists.
Veteran Graeme Noye made 8 saves and rookie Seth Clark made 12 saves as the pair combined for the shutout.
The win was the 7th straight Preseason opener win for the Vets who came into the game with a 28-4-3 record in the preseason games the past 6 seasons.
The Vets travel to Dorchester for a return match on Sunday night at the Flight Exec Centre.
