The Navy Vets swept their home-and-home weekend games with Dorchester Dolphins to open their 2022 Preseason Schedule.
The Navy Vets pushed their preseason record to 2-0 with a 3-1 win in Dorchester on Sunday night.
Veterans Eric Tuori and Ty Durston broke a scoreless tie early in the 2nd period and rookie
Davin Gray made in 3-0 in the 1st minute of the 3rd period before the Dolphins finally got on the
scoreboard.
Rookie goalie Seth Clark started the game in the Vets net and made 12 saves and got the win
before giving away to another rookie Nathaniel Smith who allowed only 1 goal on 27 shots over
the final half of the game.
The Vets won their pre-season opener 3-0 at Southwood Arena on Friday night. Graeme Noye and Seth Clark combined for the shutout.
It was their 7th straight pre-season opener victory.
