On Friday night they travel north up the highway to Tavistock for the 2nd game of this season’s “Battle of Hwy 59 North” series against the Braves … the Vets won the first game this season between the 2 teams 4-2 back in September at Southwood Arena …
On Saturday night they host the Norwich Merchants at Southwood Arena in the 3rd game of the season in this season’s “Battle of Hwy 59” series … the Vets have won both games so far – in September at Southwood Arena 5-4 and 6-2 at Nor-Del Arena earlier in October …
Saturday is “Hockey Day in Woodstock” at the Plex with Woodstock Minor Hockey Association games all day starting at 8am culminating with the Vets-Merchants clash at 7:45pm … the WMHA will be holding an equipment sale and some Vets players will be on hand during the day signing autographs !!
