Tavistock scored just 25 seconds into overtime to defeat the Navy Vets on Friday night.
Nolan Brett’s 2nd goal of the game had tied the game with just under 5 minutes left in the 3rd period.
The loss spoiled a milestone night for the Vets.
Sam Barry was playing in his 100th career game … and Brett’s 1st goal of the game was the 50th of his career.
Davin Gray assisted on Brett’s tying goal to extend his point-streak to 12 games.
Michael Boyle-Ricupero scored the other Vets goal.
Tyler Bouck made 29 saves in the loss.
The Navy Vets remain 2 points ahead of New Hamburg in 1st place.
The Vets host Norwich on Saturday night at Southwood Arena to culminate a celebration of Hockey in Woodstock day including numerous Woodstock Minor Hockey Games.
