the Navy Vets have 3 big games this weekend as they head into the final 2 weekends of the regular season …
the Vets are just 1 point back of 1st place New Hamburg Firebirds in the Doherty Division with a 28-7-3-0 record and 4 games left for both teams.

the Vets kickoff the weekend with the BIGGEST GAME OF THE SEASON as they host the Firebirds on Friday night at Southwood Arena in a 1ST PLACE SHOWDOWN @ 7:45pm … the Vets have won 4 of the 6 previous games between the 2 teams so far this season but lost 5-1 in New Hamburg last Friday to drop to 2nd place … we hope everyone in the City of Woodstock and surrounding areas of Oxford County will come out and “Pack the Plex” to cheer loud as the Navy Vets try to jump back into top spot with a win in a push for the regular season pennant !!!

on Saturday night the Vets are on the road as they travel to meet the Wellesley Applejacks @ 7:30pm … the Vets have won 4 of the 6 games between the 2 teams so far this season.

on Monday afternoon the Vets host the Paris Titans in a Family Day afternoon matinee game at Southwood Arena @ 1:45pm … the Vets have won 5 of the 6 games between the 2 teams so far this season … it is Minor Sports Day where kids 17 and under wearing their favorite sports jersey will be admitted free (12 and under must be accompanied by an adult) and Little Caesars will be on hand for many giveaways to fans including a draw to win Pizza for a Year … so everyone come out and bring your family for a great way to spend the holiday cheering on your Vets !!!

Davin Gray of the Vets continues to lead the division in scoring accumulating 59 points on a division-leading 43 assists to go along with 16 goals … the Vets actually have 2 others in the top 10 scorers with Nolan Brett 3rd (including 25 goals) and Ethan Szabo 9th and have 3 more players in the top 20 scorers !!
Tyler Bouck has been one of the top goalies in the division all season and currently is 2nd with 18 wins, 2nd with a .926 SV%, 3rd with a 2.48 GAA, and leads the division with 4 SO.
