The Navy Vets exploded for 4 goals in the 2nd period and went on to defeat the Hespeler Shamrocks at Southwood Arena on Friday night !!
It was the 9th straight win for the Vets to open the season … their longest win streak since 1995 !!
Ty Crombie got his first 2 goals as a Vet and Chris Coulter also added a pair. Brady Carne scored his 1st junior goal and Nolan Brett scored a goal for his 100th career point. Ethan Szabo had the other goal opening the scoring midway thru the 1st period.
Brodie Kearns had 3 assists in the game while Cole Dann and Davin Gray each chipped in a pair of assists.
Scott Rodrigue made 21 saves for his 3rd win of the season.
