The Navy Vets lost 5-4 in OT to the Mr.Brydges Bulldogs on Friday night at Southwood Arena.
Michael Boyle-Ricupero, Everett Force, Jake Phelan, and Ty Crombie scored for the Navy Vets. Boyle-Ricupero added an assist while Chris Coulter had 2 assists.
Colton Thomson made 22 saves and took the loss in the Vets net.
Crombie tied the game for the Vets on the powerplay with about 5 minutes left in the 3rd period to send the game to OT.
The Bulldogs won it on the powerplay in OT after the Vets were handed a too many men penalty.
Force scored the highlite goal of the game when he broke in alone with the Vets shorthanded on a flip breakaway pass from Matt Brooks and deked the Bulldogs goalie.
The Vets are now 1-2 in the pre-season.
The Vets will travel to Stratford to meet Mitchell Hawks on Sunday afternoon @ 2:00pm.
