Szabo’s OT goal completes Vets amazing comeback !!

Ethan Szabo scored with just under 2 mins left in the 1st overtime period as the Navy Vets came all the way back from a 5-1 deficit to win Game#3 in their Doherty QF in Paris 6-5.
The Titans jumped out to a 5-1 lead after the 1st period … Ty Crombie getting the Vets goal.
Scott Rodrigue replaced Vets starter Tyler Bouck to start the 2nd and made 35 saves for the victory.
Nolan Burnside scored in the 2nd period for the Vets.
Then Connor Stanley scored just over 7 minutes into the 3rd period to start the amazing comeback. Crombie with his 2nd of the game made it 5-3 with under 8 minutes left and Rhylan Warford tied the game at the 15:38 mark with his 3rd goal of the series.
That set the stage for Szabo’s heroics on a partial breakaway.
The win gives the Vets a commanding 3-0 series lead.
Game#4 is Tuesday night at Southwood Arena.
