Griffin Sinden scored his 2nd goal of the game after stealing the puck at the blueline and moving in alone to roof a shot after a deke with just 2 minutes left in the game to give the Vets a comeback 3-2 win over archrival Norwich Merchants at Southwood Arena on Saturday night before approx 1500 fans for their Home Opener !!
Sinden had 4 goals in the 2 games on the weekend.
Graeme Noye was outstanding in the Vets net … stopping a penalty shot in the 2nd period and then a breakaway early in the 3rd to give his teammates a boost.
Sinden then set up rookie Liam VanBradt for the tying goal with just under 8 minutes left to set the stage for the late heroics.
Sinden leads Vets to late comeback win !!
