Navy Vets terrific season review !!

The Navy Vets completed their regular the season in 2nd place with a 31-8-3-0 record … one of their most successful regular seasons in team history !!
They then eliminated Paris 4-1 in the Quarter-finals before beating arch-rival Norwich also 4-1 in the Semi-finals to reach the Division Finals for the 1st time in 16 seasons. Unfortunately they were not able to take down 1st place New Hamburg in the Championship Series and lost in 5 games.

Season Highlites

1. 31 wins (5th best in team history).
2. Opened season with team record-tying 9-game win streak to start a season.
3. finished as #10 ranked team in PJHL (one of 2 teams ranked in top 10 all season).
4. first time in Division Finals since 2007.
5. were 2nd in PJHL regular season attendance with 14008 for an average of 667 per game (2nd most in league history) … and finished the season with a Team & League Record Best 21866 in 29 games at Southwood for an average of 754.

1. Davin Gray won the Doherty Division scoring title with 16 goals and 47 assists for 63 points.
2. Tyler Bouck was statistically the Doherty Division top goalie – 2.45 GAA, 19 wins, 5 SO (team record), .927 SV%.
3. Ethan Szabo led the Doherty Division in playoffs scoring with 9 goals and 10 assists in 15 games.
4. Tyler Bouck had a .928 SV% and 2 SO in the playoffs to lead all goalies (4 or more games) in the division in those categories to go along with 7 more wins.
5. Nolan Brett had a total of 35 goals for the season … 29 in reg.season & 6 more in playoffs.

1. Darren Young moved into 3rd place in all-time games (240) and wins (135) for a coach in team history.
2. Sam Barry (145), Nolan Brett (132), Jordan Thomson (118) and Davin Gray (105) all reached the 100 career games mark this season.
3. Nolan Brett (156), Davin Gray (139) and Ethan Szabo (117) all reached the 100 career points plateau.
