Davin Gray scored twice to lead the Navy Vets to a 10-2 victory over Thamesford Trojans at Southwood Arena on Saturday night in their final pre-season game.
The Vets ended the exhibition schedule with a 3-2 record.
Gray’s 2nd of the game started a 2nd period barrage by the Vets as they scored 6 times in that middle frame to blow the game open.
Charley Barnes, Logan Pace-Roth, Diego Sabino, Nolan Burnside, and Brady Carne each had a goal and an assist … while Matthew Meyer, Connor Stanley, and Aiden Kindurys had the other Vets goals … Tate McKenna chipped in a pair of assists.
Tyler Bouck was sharp in making 22 saves for his 2nd win of the pre-season.
The Navy Vets now look forward to their FREE Home Opener next Friday night at Southwood Arena against the Dorchester Dolphins !!
