Davin Gray stole the puck at the offensive blueline and went in alone to score the OT winner of a 4-3 victory in Tavistock on Saturday night.
The Braves had tied the game with just 34 seconds left and their goalie on the bench.
Cole Dann, Joey Zhang, and Nolan Brett scored the other Vets goals.
Graeme Noye made 27 saves for his career-high 11th win of the season.
The Vets record now stands at 18-20-1-1.
