Rookie Davin Gray’s 20th goal of the season was all the Vets could get as they fell to Tavistock 5-1 at Southwood Arena on Friday night.
The Braves scored once in the 1st period and twice in both the 2nd and 3rd periods.
Graeme Noye made 31 saves in taking the loss for the Vets.
The Vets’ record drops to 16-17-0-1 … they are now 7 points back of 4th place Tavistock with a game-in-hand still on the Braves.
