Nolan Brett scored twice in the 3rd period to lead the Navy Vets to a 4-2 victory in Wellesley on Saturday night !!
The goals were Brett’s 26th & 27th of the season.
Owen Lukings and Sam Barry scored the other Vets goals.
Scott Rodrigue made 30 saves in recording his 11th win of the season.
The victory combined with New Hamburg’s win at home over Paris on Saturday night leaves the Vets 3 points back of the 1st place Firebirds with 2 games left and a record of 29-8-3-0.
Both of the Vets remaining games are at Southwood … Family Day Monday afternoon vs Paris and the regular season finale for Fan Appreciation Day against Tavistock.
