Navy Vets won both games this weekend !!

FRI:

Navy Vets won 3-1 in Tavistock

Ty Crombie came off the bench with under 2 minutes left in the game and buried a snap shot from the slot to break a 1-1 tie and give the Vets the victory in Tavistock on Friday night … ending their brief 3-game losing streak !!
Mitch Penner added an empty-net goal to complete the 3-1 win.
The Braves held a 1-0 lead after the 1st period … Tyler Smeda with a powerplay goal tied it for the Vets late in the 2nd period.
Tyler Bouck was strong in the Vets net making 31 saves to record his 15th win of the season and was named 1st star of the game … he also chipped in with an assist on the last goal for his 4th assist of the season.

Navy Vets won 7-1 in Hespeler

The Navy Vets got goals from 7 different players to get the 7-1 win in Hespeler on Sunday afternoon.
Aiden Kindurys, Cole Dann, Ty Crombie, Ethan Szabo, Chris Coulter, Brodie Kearns, and Sam Barry scored for the Vets.
Scott Rodrigue made 36 saves to record his 8th win of the season.

The Vets record is now 23-4-2-0 and remain 4 points ahead of 2nd place New Hamburg … but the Vets also still have a game-in-hand on the Firebirds.
