The Navy Vets got a goal from Christian Pelley on the powerplay (his 17th of the season) with just over 3 minutes left to tie the game and send it to overtime on Friday night at Southwood Arena against 1st place Wellesley Applejacks.
Unfortunately just over 3 minutes into the extra OT period the Applejacks scored to defeat the Vets 3-2.
Caden Bower scored on the powerplay early in the 3rd period for the other Vets goal.
Keaghan Brett made 40 saves in taking the loss.

Nolan Brett will play for the South Prospects team in the Prospect Game in Norwich on Saturday afternoon !!

The Vets will host Tavistock Braves on Saturday night at Southwood Arena.

In other action on Friday night, Tavistock beat Burford 6-1 and New Hamburg tied Norwich 2-2.

The Vets are in 3rd place 4 points back of Tavistock and just 3 points ahead of New Hamburg.
