the Vets still have an 2-point lead in the Doherty Division on 2nd place New Hamburg with 23-4-2-0 record but also still have a game-in-hand on the Firebirds.

they will host the Wellesley Applejacks @ 7:45pm at Southwood Arena on Friday night for Minor Hockey Night … the Vets have won 3 of the 4 games between the 2 teams so far this season including both at Southwood.

on Saturday the Vets travel up the road for another “Battle of Hwy 59 North” in Tavistock @ 7:30pm … they have split the 4 games with the Braves so far this season.

Davin Gray of the Vets continues to lead the division in scoring accumulating 50 points on a division-leading 40 assists to go along with 10 goals … the Vets actually have 3 of the top 5 scorers with Nolan Brett 2nd (including 20 goals) and Ethan Szabo 5th and have 3 more players in the top 20 scorers !!
