The Navy Vets have 2 big home games this weekend against the top 2 teams in the Doherty Division …

they will host Wellesley Applejacks at Southwood Arena on Friday night @ 7:45pm for Guide Dog Awareness Night !!
the 2 teams met 2 weeks ago also at Southwood and the Vets lost 2-1 in a SO … their only loss in the last 5 games .. the Vets won in Wellesley 3-1 back in Sep to start the streak.

then on Saturday they will host New Hamburg Firebirds at Southwood Arena @ 5:45pm as part of Woodstock Hockey Day !! the Firebirds won the 1st game this season 5-3 in NH between last season’s 2 Doherty Division finalists ..
there will be plenty of fun activities going on all day around the rink including 18 WMHA house league and rep team games …
the U16A rep team will play Sarnia @ 3:45pm just ahead of the Vets game and the U18A rep team will play London @ 8:15pm just after the Vets game ..

The Vets sit in 4th place with a 6-3-0-1 record but just 1 point back of 3rd place Norwich Merchants …
New Hamburg is in 1st place with a 10-2 record while the Applejacks are 2nd with a 8-2-0-1 record …
