The Navy Vets got behind 6-2 early in the 3rd period and while they tried to make a comeback with 2 goals by rookie Davin Gray they couldn’t overcome the deficit and fell 7-4 in New Hamburg on Friday night.
Ethan Szabo and Patrick Holloway had the other Vets’ goals.
Jake Ertel added 2 assists and Graeme Noye made 37 saves in taking the loss.
