Tuori is OT hero !!

Eric Tuori scored on a terrific pass from Griffin Sinden 11 minutes into OT to lift the Vets to a 4-3 victory on Friday night at Southwood Arena over the New Hamburg Firebirds before over 1100 fans.
Sinden was the star of the game for the Vets … scoring twice including the tying goal midway thru the 3rd period to go along with the OT assist.
The Vets had to comeback from 3 different 1-goal deficits in the game.
Keaghan Brett was again solid in goal and made a game-saving breakaway save in the OT period to give the Vets the chance for the win.

What’s Next:

The win gives the Vets a 3-2 series lead with a chance to advance to the Doherty Division Championship Series with a win in Game#6 in New Hamburg on Saturday night.

Tavistock Braves eliminated Wellesley Applejacks with a 4-2 win in Game#6 in Wellesley on Wednesday night. The Braves will now meet the Vets-Firebirds winner in the Doherty Division Championship Series.
