Diego Sabino scored twice and Tyler Bouck made 34 saves as the Vets beat rival Norwich Merchants 4-2 at Southwood on Sunday night !!
Davin Gray with his 10th of the season and Tate McKenna scored the other Vets goals.
Bouck registered his division leading 7th win of the season.
The Vets had opened up a 3-0 lead until the Merchants scored twice within 2 1/2 mins late in the 3rd to make the game close before Sabino scored this 2nd of the night into an empty net in the last minute.
The Vets sit in 4th place with a 9-4-0-1 record just 1 point back of Wellesley with a game in hand …
it is a very tight race at the top of the Doherty Division standings with only 5 points separating the top 4 teams.
The Vets will host Hespeler on Friday night at Southwood for the annual Remembrance Day Game.
