Graeme Noye returned to the Vets net after a lengthy absence with an injury to backstop the Navy Vets to a 4-2 win in Hespeler on Sunday afternoon.
It was a milestone game for Noye … his 50th career game for the Vets.
It also snapped the Vets 3-game losing streak.
The Vets head into the almost 3-week holiday break with a .500 record … 12-12-0-1 record for 25 points in 5th place but just 6 points back of both Norwich and Tavistock.
Tommy Zufelt scored twice including an empty-netter to lead the Vets … Ethan Szabo with his 18th and Patrick Holloway scored the others.
Noye made 35 saves for his 7th win of the season.
