Owen Lukings scored twice as the Navy Vets beat Wellesley Applejacks 4-2 tonight at Southwood Arena !!
Davin Gray and Brady Carne scored the others.
Scott Rodrigue made 27 saves in recording his 9th win of the season.
The Vets now have a record of 24-4-2 good for 50 points and still sit in 1st place in the Doherty Division standings with a 2-point lead but have 2 games-in-hand on the New Hamburg Firebirds.
The Vets travel up the road for another “Battle of Hwy 59 North” matchup with the Tavistock Braves on Saturday night.
