Bower OT hero as Vets top Braves !!

Caden Bower stole the puck in front of the Tavistock net just over 1 minute into OT and beat the Braves goalie for a 3-2 Vets victory.
Drew Mullett and Tommy Zufelt scored late in the 1st period to give the Vets an early 2-0 lead.
The Braves scored 2 late in the 2nd period to tie the game.
The 3rd period was an indication of what playoff hockey will be like with both teams having several chances.
The Vets killed a 2-man disadvantage early in the 3rd with some great penalty-killing and key saves by goalie Graeme Noye … and then again had to kill a penalty in the last minute of the period. Gabe Costantini led the penalty-killing team with several key shot blocks especially in that last minute.
The win was Noye’s 10th of the season,

What’s Next:

The Vets will now go into Wellesley on Saturday night looking to extend their lead on top.
