Barry nets winner in New Hamburg !!

Sam Barry finished off a beautiful play with Braeden Nelson and Eric Tuori to give the Vets a 4-3 lead just over 5 minutes into the 3rd period …
which they held onto for a big win in New Hamburg on Friday night.
Kyle Baker scored twice for the Vets padding his league-leading point total.
Eric Tuori had opened the game with a goal for the Vets just 21 seconds in on a great two-on-one pass from Barry.
Graeme Noye and Keaghan Brett split the duties in the Vets net with Brett getting the win for his division-leading 13th of the season.
Defenceman Patrick Klazer added a couple of assists to extend his league-leading point streak to 16 games.
The win accompanied by a Tavistock win and Wellesley loss puts the Vets just 2 points back of both the Braves and Applejacks with a game-in-hand on both teams.
The Vets travel to Hespeler on Sunday afternoon before hosting arch-rival Norwich at Southwood Arena on Monday for Family Day !!
