The entire Navy Vets organization is extremely saddened by the passing of team founder and long-time team president Sam Keeping early this week … he has been a faithful and avid supporter of the team for well over 50 years frequently seen around the rink on game nights in recent years willing to chat hockey with anyone … he was the inaugural inductee into the Woodstock Navy Vets Hall of Fame during our 50th Anniversary season back in 2015 and was the main builder of the 1969 OHA Championship team that we honoured just 2 weeks ago !!! … our deepest sympathies and condolences are extended to his family !!! …
