The Navy Vets played a scoreless 1st period in Wellesley on Saturday night with goalie Joseph Clark making 16 saves.
But the Applejacks scored 3 unanswered goals in the middle period to take a commanding 3-0 lead heading into the final frame.
The Jacks increased their lead to 6-0 in the 3rd before Patrick Holloway scored late for the Vets to break up the shutout bid …
just like he did on Friday night at Southwood vs New Hamburg.
The loss drops the Vets record to .500 (11-11-0-1) and leaves them in 5th place 2 back of Norwich but now 6 back of Tavistock.
The Vets will host Tavistock on Friday night at Southwood Arena.
